POSITION SUMMARYThis role is responsible for providing leadership and direction to the plant in all areas of manufacturing operations including assembly, test, SMT, stockroom, shipping and receiving.

Direct the overall activities of the manufacturing facility to ensure customer needs are met to include production performance, quality, cost and timely shipment of ordersProvide manufacturing insight by compiling, initiating, sorting and analyzing production performance dataAssign daily and weekly tasks to production personnelWork with Manufacturing Engineering department to assist with developing, troubleshooting and improving manufacturing processesManage the daily/weekly production schedule and work schedules for optimum resultsLead and motivate employees to maximize productivity and minimize operating costsEnsure that standard operating procedures are adhered to and maintained within productionAnalyze production operations and key metrics to ensure that the plant maintains high quality and safety standardsHire, train, develop and appraise production staffEnsure the consistent application of company policies and proceduresMake recommendations on purchases of new equipment and improvements to plant propertyQualificationsSPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Bachelor's degree (B.A or B.S.) from four-year College or university is preferred. High school diploma or equivalent is required.

The employee may be required to wear protective clothing such as heel straps and a lab coat. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. All of the work will be performed indoors.
