MEAT PROCESSING AND QUALITY ASSURANCE EXPERIENCE IS A MUST

Responsibilities_

Perform and/or assist in daily quality and food safety related decision making based on

established processes to ensure products meet the quality standards and food safety
requirements of Veroni USA and its customers.

Perform daily monitoring and verification tasks as outlined in the HACCP program and

recommend corrective actions for deviations

Perform daily monitoring and verification tasks as outlined in our SSOP program, SQF

program, Listeria Program, and Allergen Program. Identify and take corrective action when
a non-compliance is found

Responsible for training all employees on food safety, HACCP, GMPs, SSOPs, and other procedures
Provide monitoring and verification assistance for labeling procedures to ensure correct

labeling

Microbiological and analytical sampling for product and environment as required
Participate in meetings and projects with the goal of improving food safety and food quality
Ensure compliance with CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) regulations and company policies
Perform/Assist in the implementation of changes that advance QA systems and/or programs
Perform/Assist with facility audits
Perform other duties as assigned

Experience_

Must have at least 23 years QA Manager experience in a USDA or FDA inspected food processing plant
Familiarity with quality control processes and procedures
HACCP Certification strongly preferred
SQF knowledge preferred
Knowledge of food processing rules and regulations
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify deviations from specifications
Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to troubleshoot quality issues
Proficient in using measurement tools and equipment
Excellent management and people skills
Bilingual Spanish and English preferred

Salary:
$80,000-$95,000 per year
