Job Summary:


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial information
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including billing, collections, and payments
  • Create and maintain budgets and forecasts for the company's operations
  • Perform regular analysis of financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Provide regular financial reports and presentations to the executive management team and board of directors
  • Analyze and interpret financial information to make recommendations for improving the company's financial performance
  • Manage cash flow to ensure adequate funding for operations and growth
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock levels and minimize inventory carrying costs
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve profitability, reduce costs, and increase revenue
  • Manage the company's relationships with financial institutions, auditors, and other stakeholders
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting and finance team

Key Performance Indicators:


  • Reporting on Service Technician Key Performance Indicators
  • Budgettoactual monthly management
  • Accounts receivable and payable turnover ratios
  • Gross profit margin and net profit margin
  • Inventory turnover ratio
  • Days sales outstanding
  • Cash conversion cycle
  • Return on investment for capital expenditures

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field; MBA preferred
  • CPA or CMA certification preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 3 years in a senior management role
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial analysis and reporting
  • Experience with accounting software: Quickbooks
  • Experience with customer relationship management software: ServiceTitan
  • Expert proficiency using Microsoft Office products, MS Word & Excel and Google Suite products, Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Drive and Google Calendar
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills


The Controller will play a critical role in the success of the company by providing financial leadership and strategic guidance to the executive management team.

By tracking KPIs, managing budgets, and developing strategies to improve profitability and cash flow, the Controller will help ensure the financial health and growth of the company.
