Medical Assistant/Scribe - San Marino Eye / David Richardson, MD

Looking for a kind, upbeat, professional individual with good communication skills to perform patient-care related activities for a successful and established medical practice.

Patients routinely fly in from around the world to see Dr. David Richardson, so we are only interested in applicants who have a passion for helping others.

No medical experience necessary. We will train you on front office and back office duties. No experience with medical insurance paperwork? No problem Dr.

Richardson does not participate with insurance plans so you and the rest of his team can focus on the needs of the patient, not the demands of insurance plans.

You will not have many opportunities like this one to join a practice that is truly "patient first".


Must be fully vaccinated. Masks are still required in our office.
Fluency in Spanish or Mandarin is a plus, but not required.


Responsibilities

• Greet and interview patients to obtain their medical history
• Perform inoffice testing of the eyes
• Act as scribe for Dr. Richardson during his examination of patients
• Organize and schedule appointments
• Update and file medical records in patients' electronic charts
• Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments

Pay: 16-20/hr (depending on experience and language fluency)
