- Manage the electrical installation process for utility-scale solar projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, electrical codes, and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to schedule and prioritize electrical work activities.
- Supervise a team of electricians and subcontractors, providing guidance, training, and support as needed to ensure quality workmanship and timely project completion.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems, equipment, and components to diagnose and resolve problems efficiently.
- Coordinate with engineering and design teams to review electrical plans, specifications, and drawings, making recommendations for improvements as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of electrical work performed, including daily reports, material usage, and labor hours.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop and implement strategies for optimizing project efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies, conducting safety training and inspections as required.
- Communicate regularly with project stakeholders to provide updates on project status, milestones, and any potential challenges or delays.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical construction, preferably in the renewable energy or utility-scale solar industry.
- OSHA 30 certification required.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and equipment.
- Proven leadership abilities, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical plans, specifications, and drawings.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.
