    Description
    NWOS is looking for candidates eager to learn and be a part of our growing company.

    The Practice Coordinator serves as the primary support for the physician and/or physician assistant, coordinates and schedules appointments, and obtains insurance authorizations.


    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


    Answers patient calls and provides excellent customer serviceServes as the primary point of contact for patients, insurances, and providersCoordinates appointments with staff and provider's schedulesVerifies insurance eligibility, authorization and on occasion, benefits.

    Manages incoming new patient referrals by scheduling patients and ensures all insurance referrals are in place prior to appointment.
    Completes patient registration at the time of scheduling meeting all MIP requirements.
    Completes non-surgical documents such as workers compensation and disability forms, processes/routes all provider mail in a timely manner.


    QUALIFICATIONS:
    Excellent customer servicePrevious Medical Office experience preferredKnowledge of medical terminology preferred
