Pavestone - a part of Quikrete Companies, a manufacturer of landscaping pavers for residential and retail customers is seeking a
Machine Operator for our
Phoenix, AZ facility.

2nd Shift: 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM
The
Machine Operator is responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of a sophisticated, computerized, manufacturing machine and reports to the Plant Manager

The Machine Operator will:

Assure that equipment and tools are used according to the manufacturer's specifications
Take a variety of measurements throughout the shift to monitor the process and ensure quality.
Perform machine setup and maintenance as needed according to machine specifications.
Clean the machines as needed throughout the shift.
Operate a forklift as needed.

Job Requirements
A minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience.

Show strong mechanical aptitude and trouble shooting skills
Have knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, power, transmission, pneumatic, and control systems
Must be able to operate and work around industrial machinery
Must be able to wear safety glasses, hearing protection, and all other PPE as required
Must be able to work independently and with others with limited supervision
Must be able to take direction in a manufacturing environment with ever changing demands
