The German Railway is not only one of the most important mobility service providers, but also one of the largest engineering offices in Germany.

Currently, more than engineers work for us to realize and sustainably maintain new bridges, tunnels, train stations, tracks, and signal systems - but that's not nearly enough.

As an engineer at Deutsche Bahn, you can plan, manage, or supervise something that will remain:
the infrastructure for future generations.

We are currently looking for you as a District Manager for Signaling and Safety Technology (m/f/d) for DB Netz AG at our location in Stuttgart.

Your tasks:

As a district manager, you are responsible for the maintenance of signaling and safety technology in your regional area of responsibility and ensure safe, punctual, and costeffective rail traffic.
We will train you to become a specialist in the railway system and, after successful completion, you will carry out the maintenance of signaling and safety systems, evaluate and document the results, and initiate followup measures if necessary.
Based on your inspection, you will commission necessary repair measures and provide technical guidance to the employees who carry out the maintenance on these systems you will also be responsible for secondary construction supervision.
We will qualify you as a district manager for signaling and safety technology, and afterwards you will take on the technical and disciplinary management of the employees in your assigned district.
In your role, you will be approximately 50% in the office and 50% in the district,
