    *Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a *2ND SHIFT COATING UTILITY OPERATOR LEVEL 2 OR 3 *in *SPARTANBURG, SC*. Our client is a *WAREHOUSE THAT MANUFACTURE PAPER*. The *2ND SHIFT COATING UTILITY OPERATOR LEVEL 2 OR 3 *operates machinery and support production processes. The Utility Operator Level 1 is responsible for assisting in the operation and maintenance of manufacturing machinery and equipment. This role involves being the support to higher level Utility Operators while ensuring efficient production processes and maintaining quality standards in accordance with company procedures.
    *SHIFT:

    *Responsibilities of a *2ND SHIFT COATING UTILITY OPERATOR LEVEL 2 OR 3 *includes*:
    • Take guidance and instruction from all higher levels of Utility Operators in the learning of new skills and information pertaining to troubleshooting, setup, and quality inspection while allowing them to help assist with setup of production order(s)
    • Verifies the materials needed for production according to order.
    • Packing product in crates or on skids/pallets as product is produced according to specifications.
    • Verifies and keeps records of production rolls, quality, and any other reporting required for production.
    • Assists production floor by assembling and staging tooling and raw materials to
    • Operate coating machinery and equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines. Prepare coating materials such as paints, varnishes, or sealants by mixing them according to prescribed formulations and ensuring proper viscosity and consistency.
    • Monitor the quality of the coating being applied, ensuring it meets specified standards and requirements. This involves inspecting finished products for defects, irregularities, or imperfections in the coating.

    *Ability to manage machining projects from start to finish, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
    *Ability to ensure efficient production, maintain quality standards, and contribute to process improvements.
    *additional education or certification in manufacturing or a related field is a plus.

    • 1+ years of experience as a production associate/machine operator or worked in a manufacturing setting that includes setting up, taking measurements, quality inspection, packaging, and converting is preferred but not required.
    • Forklift experience is preferred but not required.
    • Familiarity with computer systems, touchscreens, etc. Ability to adapt to new technologies, processes, and tools in a rapidly evolving manufacturing environment.
