    Encompass Medical Group is a 50-independent physician provider group, the largest in greater Kansas City, and is dedicated to only the highest standards of healthcare excellence as exemplified in all six of our offices located throughout the Kansas City metro area.

    Encompass Medical Group is seeking a full-time Medical Receptionist within our Lenexaclinic. Join our team and share your skills and talents with a leading provider of healthcare services.

    ***Encompass Medical Group is offering a $500.00 sign-on bonus to ALL new hireswho reach the completion of their probationary period AND a $500.00 completion bonus after one full year of service***

    Working Hours: 8:30am-5:00pm Mon-Fri

    Position Summary:

    The receptionist is responsible for all aspects of meeting/greeting patients, appointment scheduling via phone and in person, cash collection and deposit. Maintains good public relations.

    Position Accountabilities:
    • Receives all incoming calls for the department and refers them after collecting all required patient data when appropriate to the appropriate personnel
    • Makes appointments over the phone and in person
    • Maintains patient confidentiality
    • Cash collection and deposit
    • Other clerical duties as assigned by the supervisor
    • Performs other duties as assigned or requested
    Job Specifications:

    Minimum Education
    • High School Graduate or equivalent; medical terminology
    Minimum Experience
    • Prior office/clerical experience
    • Basic computer skills
    Skills - Administrative
    • Good speaking voice
    • Computer skills
    • Customer service focused
    Working Conditions/Physical Demands
    • Sitting, standing, stooping
    • High volume of keyboard use
