Job Function
- Develop and implement marketing strategies that consider current and future market trends, enhancing the company's performance, driving profitability, and facilitating cost savings within the organization.
- Leverage existing relationships and identify new opportunities within the industry to drive company initiatives.
- Lead crossfunctional teams to identify and implement process improvements in the product supply and marketing functions, ensuring that all changes are implemented in a timely and costeffective manner.
- Manage and direct the company's marketing operations, including product procurement and distribution, vendor selection, price negotiations, and inventory management.
- Analyze sales performance alongside other critical metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing strategies and make recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics for the product supply and marketing functions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and other thirdparty stakeholders to ensure timely and costeffective delivery of goods and services.
- Support advanced energy initiatives that embrace Kern Energy's role in the future of California's lowcarbon transportation fuels.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to the product supply and marketing functions.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and coaching to the product supply and marketing team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
- Participate in industry events and conferences to stay uptodate on market trends and developments.

- Demonstrate a proven track record in project management, showcasing the ability to adeptly manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to product supply and marketing operations.
Education/ Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, marketing, supply chain management, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in commercial supply and trading, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful commercial strategies that help drive profitability, improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Comprehensive knowledge of California's climate change and advanced energy landscape, including renewable fuels, decarbonization strategies, carbon credit markets, and incentive programs.
