Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team at a outpatient Psychiatry clinic.


Responsibilities:

• EMR data entry
• Assist with inhalation treatments and procedures
• Take and record vital signs accurately
• Assist with prior authorizations for medications.
• Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and managing paperwork
• Deliver exceptional patient service by ensuring their comfort and addressing their concerns promptly
• Utilize your knowledge of anatomy to assist healthcare professionals during examinations and procedures
• Ability to multi

- task and manage time


Qualifications:

• Completion of a certified Medical Assistant program
• Previous experience working with psychiatric clients.
• Proficiency in medication administration and inhalation techniques
• Basic life support certification is required
• Strong knowledge of vital signs measurement and interpretation
• Insurance knowledge is a plus.
• Understanding of coding and billing processes in a medical setting
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills to provide compassionate care to patients
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Pay:
