Position Summary:
The Fill Line Associate is part of a fast-paced team responsible for packaging world-class customizable hair, skin, and body care products to meet production goals while adhering to quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensures efficiency and productivity by evaluating and modifying production processes and or equipment
- Ensures quality and consistency of the fill line by assessing, changing, and/or calibrating dispense equipment such as steppers, syringes, nozzles, etc.
- Follows all processes and procedures in accordance with written job instructions and SOPs
- Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves issues with equipment, devices, or products; uses tools such as scales to measure, calibrate, and verify products are being fill to the correct specification
- Gathers materials such as totes for upcoming changeovers to assist in the elimination of downtime
- Assists maintenance, engineers, and supervisors with tasks related to development or construction for new products, operations, and procedures
- Maintains documentation as it relates to logs, inventories, and reports for shift change and communication with supervisors
- Ensures compliance with all Safety, EHS, and Quality directives
- Assists with other duties as assigned
- Thorough understanding of or the ability to learn production equipment quickly
- Able to communicate and collect data as it relates to machine speeds, waste, and fill rates
Required Education, Skills, and Experience:
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Thorough understanding of products, ingredients, and equipment used in the filling process
- Organizational skills/attention to detail
- Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to navigate Google products or related software
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
