    Full-Time Paraprofessional

    Job Description: Spindle Staffing is currently seeking a dedicated Paraprofessional to join our team for a full-time position at a school in Maywood, IL. The selected candidate will work in various classrooms and 1:1 settings, providing essential support to meet the diverse needs of students.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist teachers in implementing instructional activities and supporting student learning in classrooms.
    • Provide one-on-one support to students with diverse learning needs, including academic and behavioral support.
    • Collaborate with classroom teachers and other staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
    • Assist with classroom management and behavior intervention strategies as needed.
    • Support students in accessing the curriculum and achieving their academic goals.

    Requirements:

    • Paraprofessional Certification from IBSE (Illinois Board of Education) required.
    • Previous experience working with students in educational settings preferred.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
    • Commitment to supporting the academic and social-emotional growth of students.
