    MRI TECHNOLOGIST - ADVENTHEALTH WINTER PARK - DAYS

    Schedule: Full-time

    Shift: 3 12-hour shifts - Thursday/Saturday/Sunday - 6:30 am - 7:00 pm

    About the Community:

    • Winter Park Memorial Hospital has been dedicated to serving Winter Park and its neighboring areas for over 50 years

    • Chartered in 1951, the hospital has evolved into a 307-bed acute care facility, promoting community health and wellness
    • Facility enhancements include an upscale obstetrics and Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, cancer care services, and advanced orthopedic care

    Your Role:

    As the MRI technologist, you will conduct neuro and body scans on patients of all ages, ensuring adherence to ADVENTHEALTH guidelines. Your responsibilities include image transmission for diagnostic purposes and updating the hospital's system with examination progress. You will actively engage in providing exceptional customer service and nurturing respectful relationships with all individuals.

    Your Contribution:

    • Demonstrate AdventHealth's core values in all actions: Integrity, Compassion, Balance, Excellence, Stewardship, and Teamwork
    • Perform MRI exams following ADVENTHEALTH protocols and ensure patient identification
    • Efficiently complete MRI exams, maintain workflow, and promote patient well-being
    • Safely operate all equipment and conduct proper screenings for patient safety

    Qualifications

    Requirements:

    • ARRT – MR or CT or R certification
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
    • Effective communication skills and ability to work with diverse individuals
    • Proficiency in MRI scanners and procedures
    • Adaptability to new technology and commitment to customer service
    • Knowledge of MRI safety guidelines

    Preferred:

    • Proficiency in general computer skills and PACS
    • Basic IV skills
    • Understanding of general physics and anatomy
    • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field
    • Prior experience with GE MRI magnets or CT scans
    • Current State of Florida license as a General Radiographer
    • ARRT - MR certification
