Specific Duties
To inspect, spot check, and supervise inspectors, technicians, and other staff to make sure the standard of quality does not diminish, and to provide guidance and feedback
Understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes
Set requirements for suppliers and monitor their compliance
Collaborate with HR to ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines
Oversee all product development procedures to identify deviations from quality standards
Keep accurate documentation and perform statistical analysis
Submit detailed reports to appropriate executives in a timely manner
Perform executed batch record reviews
Create and keep track of product lot specific documentation
Internal and external audit oversight
Review all analytical test results relevant to microbiology lab as required
Assure accuracy of SOPs relating to microbiology, including creation and revision
Assist in qualifications/validation process related to microbiology
Review and approve incidents, deviations, investigations, change control and OOS as required
Work with colleagues in operations to resolve quality and compliance issues
Serve as the back up to release raw materials and components for the GMP operations
Perform any additional duties and tasks assigned to the Quality Department


Responsibilities:


Requirements:

This position will frequently team with other quality assurance agencies in order to produce documents such as:
Kosher certifications
Certificate of Analysis (COA)
Phytosanitary Certification
USDA Certification
FDA Certification


Requirements:

Fully Bilingual - Oth writing and speaking
1- 2 years of experience in a quality assurance position
Experience in food related markets are preferred
Experience in manufacturing and production scheduling preferred
