    Are you a barista looking to provide exceptional guest service at one of the newest coffee shops in Tempe? You have come to the right place

    Cup of Joe Market Caf, located in the brand new Westin Tempe, is more than a coffee shop. We are a respite for those in need of a relaxed spot to catch up on emails, grab a light lunch with a friend, or browse our artisanal gifts and ASU merchandise. Whether you're a coffee connoisseur or java novice just needing a quick pick me up before heading off to a busy day, you'll find something perfect for your palette at Cup of Joe Market Caf.

    As a barista, you will create the extraordinary experience for our customers by providing legendary customer service with prompt service, quality beverages and products, and maintaining a clean and comfortable store environment.

    What will you be doing?

    • Train, assign, and direct deli attendants work.
    • Have full knowledge of menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods.
    • Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
    • Take coffee, beverage and food orders, input orders into POS system, collect payment and prepare orders.
    • Bus coffee cart areas and tables.
    • Complete opening and closing duties including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas.
    • Handle guest caf requests for beverage and food.
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of all storage areas.
    • Complete necessary food and station preparations prior to opening of the Cafe in order to ensure that guests are served promptly and efficiently.
    • Comply with certification requirements as applicable to position to include Food Handlers Safety etc.
