Maxxima is a well-known brand in LED lighting and electrical supplies, serving consumer home and Heavy-Duty transportation markets for over 40 years. We are committed to providing quality products and service as we expand our diverse product line.

We are currently seeking a full-time Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Hauppauge, NY. In this role, you will focus on leading the implementation of ISO 9001:2015 and managing the ongoing maintenance of our Quality Management System (QMS). Ideal candidates should have a proven track record in handling ISO 9001 systems, including training staff, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with various standards.

Responsibilities:

Establish and maintain QMS processes for ISO 9001 compliance
Collaborate with teams to drive quality and compliance initiatives
Identify areas for improvement and present performance reports
Stay updated on new regulations for future growth readiness
Train employees on quality assurance best practices
Lead audits and inspections to ensure compliance with ISO standards
Other ISO and compliance duties as needed

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years in quality or compliance roles
Experience as an ISO Management Representative preferred
Bachelor's degree in relevant field preferred
Proven success in implementing QMS
Strong decision-making and teamwork skills
Expertise in project management and communication
Proficiency in MS Office 365
Experience with engineering and manufacturing teams a plus
Knowledge of database management systems a plus

The salary for this position ranges from $55,000 to $65,000 annually.
