Job Overview:


Responsibilities:


  • Manage the entire estimating process from start to finish
  • Conduct detailed assessments and meet with subcontractors to gather information for estimates and scope of work required to prepare rental units for occupancy (rentready estimates).
  • Negotiate pricing with subcontractors and suppliers
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely completion of maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure vendor work meets company standards and expectations.
  • Conduct thorough moveout inspections to assess damages, cleanliness, and necessary repairs.
  • Oversee movein inspections to ensure units are in optimal condition for new residents.
  • Post notices and communicate effectively with residents regarding maintenance schedules, inspections, and other relevant information.
  • Provide backup support to the maintenance manager for afterhours emergency calls and assistance as needed.

Qualifications:
We are willing to train the right person


  • Previous experience in property management, construction, or a related field preferred.
  • Some experience in construction estimating (preferred, will train the right person)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with residents, vendors, and team members.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately assess property conditions and repair needs.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in using computer software for documentation and communication purposes.

Pay:
$ $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
