Your tasks

  • Processing and management of industry-funded, customer-specific and publicly funded R&D projects as a member of the research group for "Artificial Intelligence"
  • Implementation of the current state of research in the field of Artificial Intelligence, especially Embedded AI, into practical applications
  • Application areas mainly in industrial and process automation, environmental and medical technology (Industry 4.0, cyber-physical systems)
  • Algorithm development (Machine Learning, Deep Learning), data processing & analysis of time series and image data
  • Support in acquiring new projects and project partners

Your profile

  • You have completed an above-average university degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, communication technology, artificial intelligence or similar courses of study
  • Interest and experience in various areas of artificial intelligence, especially Machine Learning, Deep Learning
  • Very good programming experience, especially in C/C++, Python and ideally VHDL
  • Experience in programming embedded devices (microcontrollers, Raspberry Pi, NVIDIA Jetson, FPGA,...)
  • Experience with tools such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow (Lite), Keras or PyTorch
  • Creativity, initiative, reliability and team-oriented work style
