    Description

    Job Title: Psychologist Supervisor at Terry Children's Center

    The Psychologist Supervisor at Terry Children's Center serves as the clinical director for two residential programs catering to youth between the ages of 6-17. The role involves overseeing all youth programming, making decisions on admissions, providing supervision and training to clinical staff, running clinical meetings, and collaborating with other departments within the organization. Terry Center serves a total of 16 youth.

    Essential Functions:

    • Selects, administers, scores, and interprets psychological tests
    • Interviews and observes individuals to detect mental health concerns
    • Communicates with various organizations to develop treatment strategies
    • Assesses individual problems and develops treatment plans
    • Provides psychotherapy and other treatments to individuals and groups
    • Conducts psychological practice following ethical standards

    Job Requirements:

    Applicants for the role of Psychologist Supervisor at Terry Children's Center must meet the following criteria:

    • Possession of a Delaware Psychologist license or eligibility for one
    • Experience in staff supervision

    Additional Requirements for Department of Services for Children, Youth and their Families:

    • Minimum of two years of experience post licensure working with children or adolescents
