    We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated

    Project Engineer

    to join our team.

    As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the successful completion of our projects by developing project objectives, ensuring project specifications are met, and managing project elements.

    Your expertise in engineering, project management, and attention to detail will contribute to the overall success of our company. If you have a passion for delivering exceptional results, we encourage you to apply.

    Responsibilities:
    Prepare project documents, including progress reports, project schedule updates, subcontractor and material delivery documentation, and financial/budget updates.
    Assist in pre-work activities, such as take-offs, bid reviews, and assembly of the final project budget.
    Utilize design software and drawing tools to accurately render and communicate designs, plans, and related systems and structures.
    Investigate potential issues and implement corrective measures as necessary.

    Plan projects based on the analysis of relevant materials, including drawings, blueprints, survey reports, maps, and other geologic and topographical data.

    Draft and present reports on project-related topics, such as environmental impact statements and right-of-way descriptions.
    Assist in drafting contracts, purchase orders, and change orders.
    Collaborate with project managers to ensure projects progress properly.
    Enforce company safety standards on project sites at all times.
    Attend and actively participate in daily project meetings.
    Generate, review, and approve estimates, contracts, change orders, work orders, and other project-related documents.
    Oversee overall project management, including profit/loss and successful completion from bid to closeout.
    Create, review, and maintain project schedules.
    Work with project managers, superintendents, and/or foremen to plan, organize, and direct activities associated with projects.
    Collaborate with project managers and superintendents to address work procedures, complaints, and construction problems.
    Monitor project scope for changes affecting budget and schedule, identifying causes, advising customers, and negotiating changes in fee.
    Ensure all daily construction-related issues are addressed and maintain smooth transitions to clients.
    Identify solutions to any problems that may impede project progress or adversely affect customer relations.
    Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in civil engineering preferred.
    Licensure as a professional engineer (PE) preferred.
    Proficiency in Microsoft Suites (Word, Excel, and MAC Suites) required.
    Proficiency in Bluebeam or Adobe Acrobat preferred.
    Proficiency in Project Management Accounting Software preferred.
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with various stakeholders.
    Strong organizational and time management skills.
    Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
    Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
    Knowledge of construction industry practices and regulations.
    Valid driver's license.
    The compensation will vary based on experience ranging between $75k-$85k annual salary.
