- Diagnose and repair a variety of mechanical issues in vehicles, equipment, and machinery.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to relay and follow directions.
- Proven expertise in diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues.

- Proficient oral and written communication skills for communicating issues and timelines for repair with team members.
- Ability to keep detailed records of all repair and maintenance procedures.
- Reliable transportation promoting punctual, dependable work attendance.
- Must be a team player with the ability to work both independently and under supervision.
- Driver's license with insurability as mandated by insurance carrier. This position requires the ability to obtain a non CDL Class C driver's license.
- Certification in Automotive Training from an accredited institution.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of three years related experience in the automotive, diesel and heavy equipment field, five or more years preferred.

An experienced Fleet Mechanic for Perma-Seal possesses a strong background in the repair and general maintenance of automotive, diesel, and heavy equipment.
