    Requirements

    • Ability to grasp instructions, policies, and guidelines, and effectively communicate with the manager and staff.
    • Ability to comprehend and adhere to guidelines, meet timed objectives, productivity measures, and company standards.
    • Ability to exercise good judgment consistently.

    Environmental Job Requirements

    • Capable of thoroughly cleaning facilities according to company standards.
    • Able to position oneself to access low areas, move at heights, and remain stable when needed.
    • Must have the flexibility to bend, kneel, and crouch.
    • Occasionally required to push/pull items weighing up to 50 pounds.
    • Able to identify items in guest rooms to ensure work safety.
    • May work in various weather conditions and noisy environments.
    • Potential exposure to wet and humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and chemicals.
    • May be required to travel to other locations within a reasonable distance.

    • No prior experience or training needed.

    POSITION PURPOSE AND SUMMARY

    The Housekeeping Attendant, also known as a Housekeeper, plays a key role in ensuring an exceptional experience for guests and associates by maintaining cleanliness in guest rooms following company guidelines.

    MAJOR / KEY JOB DUTIES

    • Demonstrates a strong commitment to providing an excellent experience for guests.
    • Follows company standards, policies, and procedures while cleaning assigned guest rooms.
    • Maintains housekeeping carts, cart rooms, and laundry areas as per company standard.
    • Notifies front desk or duty manager of any maintenance issues.
    • Reports any leftover guest property in the room to the front desk.
    • Assists with guest requests within reason and as practical.
    • Complies with safety and security protocols.

    OTHER DUTIES

    • Assists in cleaning various hotel areas as directed by the manager.
    • Responsible for overall hotel cleanliness.
    • Performs other duties requested by the management.
