Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly account reconciliations for various Balance Sheet, Income Statement and Bank AccountsPrepare journal entries as necessary in connection with monthly account reconciliationsWork independently to prepare supporting schedules and analyses for month-end close and year-end auditObtain understanding and proficiency in the organizations automated software packagesAssist with special projects as neededOther duties as assignedQualifications:Minimum two to three years of professional accounting experiencePreference given to those with hands-on experience with MIP-Yardi or IntacctBachelors Degree in accounting and/or FinanceStrong understanding of accounting theoryAbility to act independently with minimal daily directionAbility to meet assigned deadlines and prioritize workExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees & managementThe annual compensation for both contract and permanent positions can range with salaries for and hourly equivalents for the roles between $80k and $105k per year.
