Position Summary:

Responsibilities:

Initiates, interprets, organizes, executes, and coordinates research assignments critical to department's mission.
Exercises a high degree of creativity, foresight, and mature judgment in planning, organizing, and guiding extensive scientific research programs and activities.
Ensures timely and accurate completion of research projects.
May make significant contributions to scientific papers. Is a resource/ author/ coauthor for reports and presentations.
Ensures integrity and consistency of the data and resolves problems.
Knows and adheres to the accepted data standards, data management regulations and best practices, as well as security mechanisms required for PHI data.
Ensures reproducibility by programming, maintaining, and documenting the research workflow.
Conducts statistical analyses.

Minimum Qualifications:

To qualify you must have a MPH or quantitative science degree. In-depth understanding of data lifecycle: from data collection to data cleaning, processing, and preservation. Experience with R programming language.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements.

The salary range for the role is $58, $70,000.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.

The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
