Position Summary:


Responsibilities:


  • Initiates, interprets, organizes, executes, and coordinates research assignments critical to department's mission.
  • Exercises a high degree of creativity, foresight, and mature judgment in planning, organizing, and guiding extensive scientific research programs and activities.
  • Ensures timely and accurate completion of research projects.
  • May make significant contributions to scientific papers. Is a resource/ author/ coauthor for reports and presentations.
  • Ensures integrity and consistency of the data and resolves problems.
  • Knows and adheres to the accepted data standards, data management regulations and best practices, as well as security mechanisms required for PHI data.
  • Ensures reproducibility by programming, maintaining, and documenting the research workflow.
  • Conducts statistical analyses.

Minimum Qualifications:

To qualify you must have a MPH or quantitative science degree. In-depth understanding of data lifecycle: from data collection to data cleaning, processing, and preservation. Experience with R programming language.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements.

The salary range for the role is $58, $70,000.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.

The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
