Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our legal team.

As a Litigation Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting our attorneys in all aspects of the litigation process.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills and a passion for the legal field.


Responsibilities:

• Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Conduct legal research using various resources, including Westlaw
• Organize and maintain case files and documents using document management systems
• Coordinate and schedule depositions, hearings, and meetings
• Interview clients, witnesses, and experts to gather information relevant to the case
• Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and drafting trial binders
• Draft correspondence and communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
• Perform administrative tasks such as filing documents with the court and maintaining calendars
• Provide general administrative support to attorneys as needed

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of legal administrative procedures and practices
• Proficiency in using document management systems for organizing and maintaining case files
• Excellent interviewing skills to gather relevant information from clients, witnesses, and experts
• Familiarity with Westlaw or other legal research platforms to conduct thorough legal research
• Strong administrative skills, including phone etiquette and calendar management
• Knowledge of paralegal duties and responsibilities within the litigation process
• Ability to draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs with attention to detail
• Understanding of basic legal principles and concepts related to litigation
• Strong project management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines effectively

Pay:
$56, $72,000.00 per year
