About Us:

Nwestco LLC has been a respected leader in the sales, service, and installation of Petroleum and Car Wash Equipment in the Northwest and Rockies region for over 25 years. We are currently looking for a dedicated and career-oriented individual to join our team.


Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Petroleum Service Technician to handle the installation, repair, and maintenance of petroleum and service station equipment, including fuel dispensers, POS systems, monitoring equipment, etc., as assigned by headquarters. This is a full-time field position in San Jose, CA and surrounding areas, with the possibility of occasional travel and overnight stays when required. Travel expenses will be covered by Nwestco, LLC.


Job Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent needed.
  • Experience with fuel dispensers, pumps, and retail POS systems is essential.
  • Any background in mechanical or electrical services is a plus.
  • Previous experience in petroleum construction, installation, and heavy equipment is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Strong commitment to safety and familiarity with safety regulations.
  • Strong willingness to learn quickly.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean record over the last 5 years is a must.

Responsibilities:

  • Installation, repair, and maintenance of fuel dispensers, POS systems, monitoring equipment, and related systems.
  • Record daily work order data, parts used, and labor hours on a mobile app.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with a team to efficiently complete projects.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and clear communication throughout the process.

Schedule: Full Time, Monday to Friday with weekend availability

License: Valid driver's license required

Travel: Occasional travel may be necessary, with some overnight stays. Travel expenses covered by Nwestco, LLC.


Pre-Employment Requirements:

  • Ability to pass pre-employment physical exam with extensive lifting.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean record over the past 5 years required.
