- BS in engineering (e.g., civil, chemical, or environmental); advanced degree a plus.
- EIT or P.E. in Texas preferred; P.E. licenses in other southwest states a plus.
- Will be considering entry level to 5 plus years of experience. At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in water/wastewater design and other environmental compliance, a plus.
- Recent graduates desired; position and salary will be commensurate with experience.
- Municipal experience in water/wastewater systems engineering design and project management, a plus.
- Consulting/industry experience for the petrochemical, refining, oil & gas industries, and heavy manufacturing industries, working with Federal and State water/wastewater regulations, also a plus.
- Passion to learn, create, advance, and lead.
- Exceptional communication, strategic thinking, negotiation, and presentation skills.

As a wastewater and/or water resources engineer for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) in Corpus Christi, Texas, you will help develop a practice providing water and wastewater design and regulatory compliance programs for public and private-sector clients with complex, technical/regulatory issues. CEC maintains a small company culture with larger company resources that it uses to support its entrepreneurial efforts. In addition to conducting technical project work, you will be involved with business development to bring in new clients and leverage existing municipal, petrochemical, refining, oil and gas, and other heavy manufacturing clients.
We are growing and expanding and are looking for a leader who is passionate about growing a water resources practice in Texas and the southwest.
