My client is a mid-sized, full-service general contracting, construction management, scheduling, and real estate development company with two offices, one being based in Westchester County, New York.

They have been in business for over 30 years and have gained a great reputation across the ground-up/renovation residential market, predominantly affordable housing in New York City.

The projects they focus on are in the Bronx, Manhattan, and Brooklyn and range anywhere from $5M - $100M.


About the opportunity

This is an Assistant Project Manager position with the opportunity to progress into a Project Manager then an Assistant Project Manager.

About the role

• Assist PM in developing project schedules/critical path analysis.
• Create, maintain, and update project directories.
• Maintain/update logs for Submittals, RFI's, and Change Orders throughout the duration of assigned project.
• Identify, evaluate, and manage selected subcontractors and vendors.
• Understand and administer contract and subcontract agreements.
• Manage the Quality Assurance/Quality Control program.
• Attend job meetings and sitevisits periodically and review all weekly job minutes to stay intuned with assigned job progress.

The type of projects you will be working on will range in value between $5M - $100M. These could be affordable housing occupied renovations or ground up affordable housing.

There are also progression routes available to advance into a Project Manager position. You will be rewarded with a salary ranging between $95,000 - $115,000 + a full benefits package on top.


Requirements:

I am looking for someone who has a Bachelor of Science, ideally in either an engineering or construction course.

It is important you have at least 3 years of experience for a New York City based General Contracting, having exposure to residential projects.

Pay:
$95, $115,000.00 per year
