General Summary:
Under general supervision, performs a variety of responsible technical, administrative and paraprofessional duties in support of the department operation or assigned project.
Typical tasks:
- Assists with office and administrative support, including preparing correspondence, reports and other communication materials, responding to customers and the public
- Archive and maintain data
- Coordinates logistics for a variety of processes, activities and meetings
- Conducts and responds to surveys and prepares related reports
- Performs data queries within the department's various databases and produces reports
- Participates in the preparation of material for newspapers, publications and/or websites
- Clerk of the Board Duties
- Compiling monthly agenda, orchestrating monthly Governing Board Meetings. Preparing minutes and authorizing approved agenda items
- Form 700 Filing Officer
- Annual filing of Board Members and Employees
- Accounting Data Entry
- Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Cash Receipts
- Banking
- Weekly deposits
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year of experience
