    Description

    Job Title: Communications Support Specialist III

    Location: Jackson, MI hybrid (M, T, Th required onsite & W, F remote)

    Contract Duration: Until 12/20/2024 with a high likelihood of extension

    Required Skills:

    • Strong internal and external communications skills.
    • Experience working with executives.
    • Proficiency in content creation, especially for executive audiences.
    • Expertise in PowerPoint for Flybacks and other presentations.
    • Ability to develop and execute communications management strategies.
    • Skilled in translating technical information into easily understandable formats for senior teams.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in developing communications materials and creating content for executives.
    • portfolio of work required for an interview - PowerPoint, slide deck

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop various communication materials to support stakeholder engagement strategies, such as emails, infographics, PowerPoint presentations, training materials, FAQs, leader talking points, and concise summaries.
    • Create executive-level presentations to effectively communicate process optimization initiatives, detailing business problems and their organizational impact.
    • Craft talking points for leaders to influence organizational support, utilizing tools like PowerPoints and change controls.
    • Produce visual illustrations summarizing complex business challenges and outlining sustainable solution approaches.
    • Coordinate and manage timely delivery of communication materials to target audiences, adhering to project timelines.
    • Assess the effectiveness of communication strategies and materials, adjusting approaches as necessary.
    • Manage and deliver standard communications including weekly accomplishment summaries, bi-weekly executive updates, and sponsor communications.
    • Collaborate with subject matter experts to understand change impacts and recommend effective communication strategies tailored to audience needs.

    Requirements:

    • Proficiency in graphic design, particularly with PowerPoint presentations.
    • Background in executive communication.
    • Familiarity with change management strategies and techniques.
    • Ability to distill technical information into clear and concise summaries.
    • Strong time management skills to handle multiple assignments with tight deadlines.
    • Proactive in identifying communication risks and barriers, adapting quickly to changing business needs.
    • Exceptional presentation development abilities.
    • Self-motivated with the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.
