Technical Purchaser (m/f/d) in Permanent Position in Boonsboro, MD


Our client is a specialist in plant and automation solutions in the field of hygiene and food, specifically for the food processing industry.

As part of our direct placement services, we are looking for a Technical Purchaser (m/f/d) in full-time.


Your responsibilities:


  • Ensuring material supply
  • Close collaboration with all internal departments
  • Monitoring delivery dates and managing supplier base
  • Acquisition and evaluation of suppliers
  • Operational purchasing and disposition of goods in an international environment
  • Procurement of production parts with order processing
  • Initiating countermeasures to avoid delivery failures
  • Independent price and contract negotiations
  • Checking order confirmations and supplier invoices
  • Accompanying supplier qualification
  • Maintaining article and supplier master data
  • Processing complaints

Your qualifications:


  • Completed technical education, further training as a technician (m/f/d) or degree
  • Professional experience in technical purchasing required
  • Good business knowledge
  • Proficient in IT systems, MS Office, and ERP systems (preferably ams.
ERP)

  • Selfinitiative and high level of commitment
  • Reliability, resilience, and flexibility
  • Negotiation skills, confident demeanor, and assertiveness
  • Teamwork and meticulous work ethic
