    Job Summary
    Leads the women's soccer program to ensure a quality program and successful Division I team. Recruits student-athletes and oversees their training. Monitors and supports academic success of student athletes. Builds and maintains a public awareness of the program. Performs other functionally related duties as assigned.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • High school diploma, GED or state recognized equivalent.
    • Three (3) years of experience coaching soccer at the club, high school, collegiate or equivalent level.
    • Valid driver's license and ability to establish driver eligibility under the CSU's Motor Vehicle Policy.
    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree preferably in education, sports management, or another related field.
    • Five (5) years of experience coaching soccer at the club, professional or collegiate level.
    • Familiarity with Northeast Ohio region.
    • Professional experience in a urban college/university environment.
    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

    • Knowledge of NCAA and conference rules and legislation and committed to abiding by them.
    • Supports commitment to a diverse program through hiring, retention, facilitation, and decision-making skills and competencies.
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills and decision-making abilities.
    • Strong organizational and excellent interpersonal skills and have a "Customer Focus" attitude and delivery.
    • Possess the ability to effectively plan and coordinate, establish and maintain effective working relationships and prioritize workloads based on available resources.
    • Possess the ability to manage projects, meet deadlines and tackle emergencies and difficult situations.
    • Possess a high degree of confidentiality to available information.
