    **Overview**

    Audacy Pittsburg seeks a talented and energetic individual to serve as Engineer for our four local radio stations (KDKA-AM, KDKA-FM, WBZZ-FM and WDSY-FM). If you possess the following skills and experiences, then please apply for this opportunity.

    **Responsibilities**

    **What You'll Do:**

    + Oversee local technical needs and activities for a goal of 100% uptime for station On-Air Products

    + Hands-on FM, HD, AM transmitter experience and AM Directional Antenna experience

    + Ability to inspect, repair, and maintain all broadcast radio station equipment, including transmitters, antennas, satellite downlinks, automation system, studio equipment, remote equipment, generators, telephone system and related other equipment

    + A knowledge of FCC Rules and Regulations

    + The candidate must have strong verbal and writing communications skills, as well as strong proven time management skills including ability to multi-task in a multiple project environment.

    + Experience in project planning, management and execution. IT & Network knowledge and experience required as well as experience with digital audio and audio streaming

    **Qualifications**

    **Required & Preferred:**

    + Must have at least four years of college or technical school and/or training; or equivalent work experience

    + Availability to work various hours / days, including some weekends and holidays

    + Ability to provide on-call status 24/7 in case of equipment failure

    + Must be able to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 40lbs

    + SBE Certifications is a plus

    + Familiarity with high voltage, RF exposure and safety, generators and backup power systems, satellite downlink facilities and receivers

    + Basic knowledge of computers and IT systems is a must, including proficiency with Google, (GMail, Docs Sheets, Slides) * Experience with modern digital audio systems including Wide Orbit, Vox Pro and Livewire is highly desirable

    + A valid drivers license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and, if the position requires use of applicants own vehicle, proof of insurance, is required.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee will frequently be required to stand; walk; sit; use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; and smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
