Tax Accountant
Four Squared Solutions is seeking a Full Time Tax Accountant - High Net Worth Individuals in the greater Baltimore, MD area.
Overview:
Responsibilities:
Tax Planning:
Develop and implement comprehensive tax strategies tailored to meet the unique needs and objectives of high net worth individuals.
This includes analyzing financial data, evaluating tax implications of various transactions, and identifying opportunities for tax optimization.Tax Compliance:
Prepare and review complex tax returns for high net worth individuals, ensuring accuracy, compliance with relevant regulations, and optimization of available deductions and credits.
Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and minimize tax liabilities.Client Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with high net worth clients, serving as a trusted advisor on all tax-related matters.
Provide proactive guidance and recommendations to help clients achieve their financial goals while minimizing tax burdens.Tax Research:
Conduct thorough research on tax issues and developments relevant to high net worth individuals, providing insights and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance service delivery.Collaboration:
Work closely with other members of the tax team, as well as professionals from other departments such as wealth management, legal, and financial planning, to deliver comprehensive solutions that address clients' overall financial needs.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to client tax matters. Prepare detailed reports and analyses for clients, management, and regulatory authorities as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
CPA designation preferred.
Minimum 4-5 + years of Public Accounting Exp. (Corps, Partnerships, Individuals/HNWIs, etc.)
In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and colleagues at all levels.
Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Excel.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.

Physical Requirements:
- Valid driver's license required. Must reside within the geographic area of the assigned area. This position requires regular business travel mostly by car within a set geographic region.
- Ability to carry and transport professional sales samples and literature.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. as needed
- Frequent talking, hearing, visual acuity (detail/accuracy), and repetitive motion
