Full-time
House Manager to join our team in Silver Spring, MD As the House Manager, you will be responsible for Directly supervising 1-8 employees in the Residential Program.

You will carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

What You'll Do:

Orders supplies and determines need for maintenance, repairs, and furnishings.
Assists in the general upkeep of the house, including cleaning and maintaining the outside grounds.
Administers medication per Maryland Board of Nursing requirements.
Checks and updates consumer goals, messages, nursing diary notes and daily diary notes in the Carematic system.
Assists consumers with daily hygiene, plans menus and assists in preparing meals as needed.
Assigns rooms, assists in planning recreational activities, and supervises groupsponsored trips and social functions.
Counsel consumers in identifying and resolving social or other problems.
Compiles and monitors records of daily activities of consumers.
Writes and submits incident reports as needed.
Answers telephone and sorts and distributes mail.
Escorts consumers on trips outside establishment for shopping or to obtain medical or dental services.
Monitors and maintains consumer finances and records necessary documentation on general ledger.
Ensures compliance with COMAR, MNOB and company regulations.

What We Require:

Must possess a valid driver's license.
High School Diploma (or equivalent) and a minimum of two (2) years' experience working with Adults diagnosed with varying mental health and intellectual disabilities.
Knowledge of Internet and Microsoft Office software
Must be able to work with "highrisk" consumers who have mental illnesses as well as developmental and physical disabilities.
