- Welcomes people to the office in professional and friendly manner
- Collaborates with various departments across state government to ensure proper interoffice communication
- Screens, sorts and distribute incoming physical mail
- Handles intake of the general comment line phone calls and messages.
- Works closely with Deputy Director of Constituent Services to craft and deliver personalized letters to constituents (congratulatory, retirement, graduation, condolences etc)
- Helps carry out office management and administrative tasks as assigned by leadership
- Able to work efficiently and effectively as a member of a team
- Be able to meet strict deadlines, balance multiple projects simultaneously, and work under pressure
- Positive attitude, commitment to team, flexibility, and a sense of humor
- Training, education, or experience in office and administrative support work that demonstrates 1) competency in applying a proficient knowledge of modern office practices to perform advanced administrative support tasks requiring specialized skills, and 2) the ability to use independent judgment, initiative, and discretion to make determinations on varied matters.

The Governor's office is seeking candidates for a Constituent Services Representative.
The Constituent Service Representative is the face of the Governor's Office, welcoming constituents into the office and working with other staff to address constituent questions and concerns or to resolve their issues across the administration.
This position reports to the Director of Constituent Services.Duties and responsibilities:
Working conditions:
Job may occasionally require work outside of the traditional 9-5 schedule.
Constituent team can work remotely or from the office, as needed, based on demands of specific tasks or personal work preferences.
Constituent Services Specialist is expected to work from office when Legislature is in session.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
