    Description

    We are looking for an Intermediate Developer (NodeJS, MongoDB, MySQL)! Are you up for the challenge? Let's dive into the details:

    • 6+ months initial contract for a remote position
    • Rate: $50/hr. C2C
    • Only USC or GC candidates
    • Scope of Services: Florida Virtual School (FLVS) needs a skilled service provider to work on creating an interactive Table of Contents (TOC) and Course gradebook within FLVS's Learning Management System (LMS). This will involve using MongoDB for data storage, NodeJS for backend, Express for middleware and API router, and Angular for the front end. The role will also include developing various roles and associated features such as authoring, editing, and viewing based on role requirements. The LMS front end must be styled with Prime NG components based on UX/UI mockups provided by FLVS.
    • The ideal candidate should have:
      • 3-5 years of experience in developing using TypeScript, Express, & Angular
      • 3-5 years of experience with MySQL and/or other relational databases
      • 3-5 years of experience with MongoDB and/or other NoSQL databases
      • 3-5 years of Unix experience, RedHat Linux (preferred)
      • 3-5 years in developing enterprise-wide software solutions (preferred)
      • 3-5 years in creating custom business computer applications (preferred)
      • Perl experience (preferred)
      • Apache experience (preferred)
      • Business Intelligence, Big Data, or analytics experience (preferred)
      • Experience in the Education industry or with education data (preferred)
      • Experience with git version control (preferred)
