Description

We are an Independent Service Provider seeking experienced drivers to fill local routes on a full-time or part time basis working out of our South Baltimore(Halethorpe) terminal.

The position requires a significant level of organization, excellent attendance, high levels of performance in delivery and customer service, a positive and professional attitude, team spirit, and flexibility and persistence in the face of physical and mental challenges.

Full time and weekend only schedules available

Qualifications
A DOT physical exam is required

Package Delivery Drivers must have excellent customer contact and driving skill

Qualified applicants must have a valid driver's license issued in the state that they live

21+ years of age

1 year of Commercial or Military Driving Experience in the last 3 years is preferred

Pass an extensive criminal background check and drug screening

Have a clean driving record

Have a stable employment history with a record of good attendance

Must have reliable transportation to and from Sparrows Point/Baltimore, MD terminal daily.

Absences are NOT acceptable in this position
Have strong organizational skills

Responsibilities

This is a physical, fast-paced, outdoor position that involves continual lifting, lowering and carrying packages that typically weigh
lbs.

You must be able to safely lift/carry up to
150 lbs. with a hand truck

There is 1 position available at this time.

Daily Duties
Perform daily Pre & Post inspection on vehicle

Put Safety First when driving
- no cell phones, no texting, no speeding, no road rage

Work independently and as part of a team

Provide exceptional customer service

Accurately operate scanner/effectively track delivery process

Consistently deliver entire route in a timely manner

Communicate with your managers in a timely and appropriate
