We are looking for one part-time teacher to teach AP US History and AP World History to our high school students during our summer camp. This teacher will be positive, confident, and energetic and make a lasting contribution.
Teach HS students AP US History and AP World History.

Expected qualifications, knowledge, skills, and experience include:

Bachelor's Degree in History or a related field
2 Years of Teaching Experience (as an HS School Teacher or Teacher Aide)
Strong verbal and written communication, organizational, and leadership skills
Applicants should be energetic and enthusiastic, displaying a high level of tolerance, patience, and support
Applicants should be comfortable interacting with those of various backgrounds and professional levels, from parents to school administrators.
Experience working with high school students
Applicants should be flexible and resourceful and communicate well with students and families.

Duties and Responsibilities

Create teaching strategies to engage students and encourage class participation.
Assign homework and give and grade tests.
Assess student performance to determine if they are learning at an acceptable level and pace.
Communicate concerns or issues about students to administrators.

Work Schedule

June 10, 2024, to August 9, 2024,
Wednesdays and Fridays
1:00 pm to 5:00 pm

Pay
- $30 to $70 per hour based on experience

Staff Needed

Additional Notes:
The teacher will be responsible for preparing lesson plans.
