Reporting to the Director of Global Digital Channel Experiences the Digital Merchandising Manager will be responsible for efforts to drive the planning, organization, and optimization of the digital work that enables our Channel teams to drive sales, growth, & velocity for RL to achieve sales goals.

This role is directly responsible for 1) Leading and executing merchandising programs to create a compelling online brand experience for our partners including product display pages and brand pages 2) Coordinating reviews of performance of programs with key internal stakeholders including across channels to drive continuous improvement 3) Identifying partner opportunities to drive optimizations of digital merchandising programs


Digital Merchandising Program Manager - Global Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute programs delivering efficiency & scale across the global channel marketing teams
  • Partner with cross functional teams to create a compelling experience online through merchandise presentation (product pages, landing pages), intuitive category navigation and clear and accurate product information for both desktop and mobile
  • Build digital merchandising knowledge within the organization by building playbooks and best practices that drive operational excellence across the experience
  • Oversee the development of briefs in partnership with Channel Marketing, Channel Sales & Strategy and Product Marketing to inform crossfunctional teams for work on digital program requirements
  • Collaborate with the data insights team to understand performance and consumer interaction with site content and online shopping experiences
  • Share learnings across channels/partners to drive optimizations across multiple workstreams
  • Coordinate and manage regularly scheduled reviews of performance of programs across the business to key internal stakeholders to drive continuous improvement
  • Identify A/B testing to test and drive improvements of digital merchandising programs and marketing messaging and partner with creative and product marketing to execute
  • Continuously research the ecommerce landscape and online competitors, identifying category trends and growth opportunities

Minimum Qualifications:


  • 3+ years experience in an ecommerce merchandising, category management or marketing role
  • Knowledge in selling online, and improving process/sales results
  • Experience working in a fast paced environment, should thrive in an often ambiguous environment
  • Experience managing crossfunctional relationships between merchandising, marketing and business stakeholders alike
  • Effective communication and presentation skills experience presenting to executives, business and creatives alike
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience working with internal and external customers
  • Experience working with asset management tools and asset types
