A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FAMILY NURSE PRACTITIONER - NP
As a Family Nurse Practitioner - NP, you play a crucial role on our team. As you travel the county with our mobile clinic, you bring much-needed skill and compassion to our patients. Each day, you see people who need wound care or podiatry care.

As a team player, you collaborate with qualified physicians, other staff members, and the patients themselves to plan and coordinate their care in the best possible way.

Clear communication is a priority for you, and you listen to everyone with respect and concern.

After visiting with each patient, you accurately document the medical evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and outcomes, following procedures to the letter in all that you do.

An excellent time manager, you complete your tasks within the requested time frame and delegate other tasks that need to be done.


You are a role model and a resource for the rest of the staff, and you take this responsibility seriously.

Positive and upbeat, you encourage resolutions to any problems that arise and strive to act in a caring and professional manner to everyone you meet.

At the end of your shift, you feel great knowing you've impacted so many lives during your travels in our mobile clinic.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A FAMILY NURSE PRACTITIONER - NP

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing and advanced practitioner program
  • Licensure by the Texas State Board of Nursing
  • Advanced practitioner license
  • Ability to maintain HIPAA confidentiality
Experience in wound care is preferred. Do you have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written? Are you caring and kind? Do you present yourself in a professional manner? Are you attentive to detail when caring for patients and precise in your charting? Can you effectively work on your own and as part of a team? If yes, you might just be perfect for this full-time healthcare position


WORK SCHEDULE FOR A FAMILY NURSE PRACTITIONER - NP


This healthcare position works a
flexible full-time schedule between the typical hours of
9 am - 5 pm, Monday - Friday.
