On any given day, a social media manager might be responsible for setting the strategy for an upcoming product launch, analyzing data across platforms, coordinating messaging with PR & Communications, running basic paid advertisements and lots more.

Responsible for collaborating with others to develop successful social media campaigns. Their duties include communicating with freelance Content Creators, overseeing social media campaign schedules. Social Media Manager is responsible for overseeing one or more social media accounts for a business.

Their duties include creating and updating social media posting schedules, replying to or liking comments, tagged photos and coordinating with other professionals to determine how to market a brand and its products or services using social media.

This position is complemented by on-set assistance with content creations and a hybrid work schedule at our office location. This is an exempt position with flexibility to work nights and weekends to cover events and venues.


Key Responsibilities in Videography/Video Editing:


  • Planning and developing social media campaigns.
  • Crafting compelling content or getting it developed.
  • Posting content across social media accounts.
  • Engaging with customers on different channels.
  • Analyzing running campaigns.
  • Staying on top of the latest social media trends.
  • Technical skills (Adobe, Photoshop Microsoft Office)

  • Clear and engaging writing.
  • Experience with all Social Media Platforms
  • Understanding KPI's and defining them specifically for social media
  • Collaborating with designers or copywriters to provide attractive and informative campaigns
  • Monitoring all social media content
  • Tracking the performance of the campaign
  • Keeping up with technologies used in social media
  • Using social media marketing tools
  • Tracking customer engagement and SEO to optimize campaign content
  • Establishing relationships/networks of industry professionals or influencers on social media
  • Training team members
  • Ability to develop and implement a corporate social media strategy
  • Ability to monitor online activity across departments and geographical areas to ensure anyone using the company's online tools is following established guidelines and bestpractice rules
  • Encourage greater social media participation
  • Identify opportunities to influence public perception through audience engagement and publicly speaking about the brand's social media strategy
  • Ensure consistency in social media calendars and content
  • Enhance social media and overall marketing strategies
  • Identify and implement improvements in the social media campaign process
  • Produce content for diverse audiences and platforms for MediaScher and it's clientele
  • Keep up to date with the latest video marketing trends
  • Ensure content creation meet the marketing team's specifications and guidelines
  • Implement creative notes from stakeholders
  • Offer customers peerless digital experiences
  • Evaluate projects for brand authenticity

Skills & Qualifications:


  • Outstanding understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Google Business, Etc.) and comfort in repurposing content across all of those platforms
  • Social platforms analytics tools knowledge
  • Specific skills in creative editing and translation of content, content repurposing and strategic posting
  • Strong visual eye for designing and creating graphics; applicable to promo graphics, social media posts and eventually powerpoint slides and course creation
  • Articulate. Excellent copywriting, spelling and grammar skills
  • Organized, detailoriented, motivated and proactive
  • Selfmotivated, assertive personality who can operate effectively as an individual and as part of the team
  • Creative thinker with a growth mindset
  • Ability to listen, adapt and incorporate feedback
  • Knowledge of emerging media trends
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish effective rapport with the team and clientele, even in remote working environments
  • Experience as a social media specialist or similar position
  • Excellent critical thinking, interpersonal, communication, timemanagement and problemsolving skills
  • 2+ years of relative experience
  • Capacity to communicate effectively
  • Strong project management skills

Deliverables to be Maintained:


  • Daily management of social media calendars for multiplatform postings, covering a range of styles and topics as directed
  • Development and execution of annual strategies for YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, Google Business, LinkedIn and Instagram Reels
  • Oversight of deadlines, goals, and website development strategy in collaboration with thirdparty vendors.
  • Regular communication with the department head to ensure deadlines for various projects are met.
  • Submission of a monthly opportunity report highlighting 23 innovative marketing opportunities.

Pay:
$44, $50,000.00 per year
