ASSIGNED HEADQUARTERS AS BUSINESS NEEDS ARISE.

Under the close supervision of a Workforce Services (WS) Employment Program Manager I and the direct guidance of a Youth Employment Opportunity Program (YEOP) Mentor, and after on-the-job training, the YEOP Program Student Assistant will provide services to youth designated as at-risk and/or disabled.

Student Assistants will case manage clients through peer advising, refer clients to educational institutions and local training providers, provide vocational guidance, facilitate job search workshops, conduct outreach, and recruit youth from the local community and schools.


Applicants must meet YEOP eligibility criteria: under the age of 25 years old, attending college or equivalent, and have a desire to help other youth achieve their educational goals.
