    Description


    Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Vice President of Tax Compliance to join their team in Los Angeles County.

    Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $160,000 to $225,000 per year.


    Job Description:
    Deployment of Tax Compliance Department resources and coordination of outsourced tax preparation prepared by outside firms, including a Big Four accounting firmTrack the progress and completion of hundreds of client engagementsCreate and update tax compliance scoping tool and client engagement lettersPrepare, review, and analyze individual, fiduciary gift, partnership, S-Corp, and private foundation tax returnsOversee the preparation of our clients' 1099 year-end tax information reportingUnderstand and implement new tax technology solutionsConduct general accounting for client business' to be used in preparing income tax returns


    Requirements:


    CPA requiredAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams)Advanced knowledge of tax preparation software CCH and Thomson Reuters OneSourceWilling to work overtime and on weekends during tax busy seasonOutstanding written and verbal communication skills.


    Experience:
    Bachelor's degree in related field and a minimum of 10 years' relevant experience
