~We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial health of our organization by overseeing various accounting functions. The ideal candidate will possess a CPA certification and have experience in manufacturing, forecasting, inventory, cost accounting, Excel, ERP, operating budget, profit/loss, and SAP.
Manage the monthly close process, including preparing and reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements
Develop and maintain accurate and timely financial reports for management
Perform variance analysis and provide explanations for budget vs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate inventory valuation and reporting
Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures, as well as GAAP
Support the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors
Participate in special projects and ad-hoc analysis as needed
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
3+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in the manufacturing industry
Strong knowledge of inventory management and cost accounting principles
Experience with ERP systems, SAP preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and vlookups
