Pool Attendant ("Pool Monitor") - A great part-time job for the summer

The community of Continental Ranch features two swimming pool facilities, which are enjoyed by the residents belonging to the surrounding neighborhoods.

Our pool monitors help maintain an enjoyable environment for everyone visiting the pool.

Pool monitors help make sure that the pool area rules are being followed and help keep the pool area tidy.

This is
not a lifeguard position. The rate of hire for this position is $14.35/hour and averages hours per week.

• A customer serviceoriented individual with a friendly personality, who enjoys interacting with our valued residents
• One who enjoys being outdoors (shade is available)
• Available for the full season through September
• One who conducts themselves in a polite and professional manner
• Able to be confident and consistent while enforcing rules of the facility

Overview of Responsibilities:

• Diligently watch the pool facility areas and monitor behavior of the visitors
• Speak with visitors who violate pool rules to ensure the rules are being followed
• Maintain a positive environment for all visitors
• Periodically test the pool water to ensure chlorine/pH levels are appropriate
• Straighten and organize pool furniture as needed
• Periodically perform light cleaning of deck
• Close pools when lightning/thunder is present

The Location:
The pool monitor positions float between the pool at the main office, located at 9150 N. Coachline Boulevard, and the community center pool just down the street from the main office. Continental Ranch is only 2 minutes from the freeway, making it conveniently accessible from most parts of town.
