    Job DescriptionDescription:

    1. Salt Lake City Marriott University Park is a beautiful hotel near the University of Utah with gorgeous mountain and city views, modern amenities and an excellent location adjacent to Rice-Eccles Stadium, our hotel provides smart, stylish lodging for business and leisure travelers visiting the Salt Lake City area. Hotel discounts for associates including free shift meals and on-site parking.

    · Maintain health and sanitation standards.

    · Open kitchen and Close kitchen in absence of supervisors

    · Adhere to all prepared written recipes for all menu items.

    · Report out of stock items to the supervisor

    · Prepare all sauces and all dishes for breakfast, dinner menus.

    · Help set-up restaurant and employee cafeteria buffet.

    · Prepare all menu and featured items under the Executive Chef's direction.

    · Perform the duties of the Prep List schedule.

    · Prepare all dressings and cold sauces.

    · Maintain adequate supply of desserts.

    · Prepare all salads.

    · Assist with banquet preparation.

    Requirements:
    • Previous line cook experience required.
    • Hotel experience preferred.
    • Ability to follow directions and adjust to high pressure conditions.

    · Minimum lifting of 50 pounds.

    · Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity.

    · Hearing, writing, typing.

    · Minimum pulling of 50 pounds.

    ·Other duties may be assigned.
