THE POSITION:


DESCRIPTION OF WORK:


In this role you will serve as a quality assurance controller and will work with the unit responsible for testing new and modified software programs and systems.

Conducting meetings with a variety of staff including business leads, upper management, testers, and technical staff will be included in your duties.

You will have the opportunity to collaborate in the development of testing standards and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness and ensure compliance with those standards.

You will be responsible for leading cross division teams to track testing progress and provide feedback to management to ensure timelines and standards are being followed.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:


  • Fulltime employment.
  • Work hours are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday
  • Friday, with 60minute lunch.

Telework:You will have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time, with the exception of reporting to the Northwest Office Building on the Tuesday before Board meeting dates once every two to three weeks, and as operational needs dictate. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters Northwest Office Building in Harrisburg.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY:


QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:


  • One year as an Information Technology Generalist 1, Applications Developer 1, or Network Specialist 1;
    or:
  • A bachelor's degree in any information technology field;
    or:
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Legal Requirements:


  • You must pass a background investigation. An applicant with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment is not permitted to work for the PLCB, per section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code. Other criminal convictions will be reviewed on a casebycase basis.
